For GP Referrers
Dr Roshan Ariyaratnam welcomes referrals for patients requiring general surgical assessment, including early referrals where a surgical opinion may help guide ongoing management.
With consulting locations across Melbourne and Sunbury, Dr Ariyaratnam aims to offer timely access to surgical review, with most referred patients seen within one week where appointment availability and clinical circumstances allow.
Clear communication with referring GPs is an important part of care. Following assessment, relevant findings, management plans and operative information are communicated back to the referring doctor to support continuity of care.
Dr Ariyaratnam is also happy for GPs to contact his rooms if they would like to discuss a patient before making a referral.
